Scalpel Handle

If you have a sharp knife blade on your multi-tool or Swiss Army Knife®, you may not need a scalpel handle or blades. On the other hand, a thin, ultra-sharp scalpel blade can do things a knife can't, for example, lance an abscess. If you are using our Minimalist First Aid Pack you might want to carry a few scalpel blades and leave the 5.5 inch handle behind...but it is so much easier to wield a scalpel blade with the handle. The scalpel blades and handles fit nicely into the clear vinyl pockets of our Guide First Aid Pack or our Expedition First Aid Pack. Handles can also fit into one of the vertical spine pockets, the zipper pocket, or the internal slash pocket, while the blades fit into the inside zippered pocket of the Minimalist First Aid Pack.
