First Aid Supplies Suction and Irrigation Syringes

Suction and Irrigation Syringes

( 2 Products Available )
Wounds are an all too common problem in the backcountry no matter how hard you try to avoid them. While cutting the corner off a plastic bag or a bike bottle sortof works to clean a dirty wound, an irrigation syringe works significantly better. Syringes can also come in handy for suctioning vomit from the airway of an unresponsive patient (you'll need a suction tip) and flushing eyes or ears. We offer three types of syringes to meet a number of needs and fit in our first aid packs; the suction tip is sold separately.
  • For irrigation and suction purposes, choose our 60 cc syringe. Use it tipped with a 26 FR PVC nasopharyngeal airway for suction (sold separately) and without the tip for irrigating wounds, eyes, ears - or for enemas. It fits into the elastic loop on our Guide First Aid Pack and our Expedition First Aid Pack.
  • The 30 cc syringe is designed for irrigating wounds, eyes, and ears; it cannot be used for suction. It fits into the elastic loop on our Guide First Aid Pack and our Expedition First Aid Pack.
  • The 10 cc syringe is designed for irrigating wounds and eyes and fits into the elastic loop in our Minimalist First Aid Pack.
